Hello everyone! Ford’s semi-annual price raise on warranties will take effect on October 1st, 2025. This is the second time this year Ford will have raised prices on their warranties.
The rising cost of labor and parts always prompts Ford to raise their warranty prices twice annually, and the price usually jumps by over double digit percentage points each time. the official dates that price hikes usually land are on October 1st and April 1st.
Most dealers charge an outrageous markup on Ford warranties, while only a select few charge a reasonable price. The two I know of, are Granger and Flood Ford. Granger Ford charges cost plus $25, while Flood Ford charges cost plus $50.
There are lots of different forms Ford Protect offers, as you are able to choose different mileage, year, and coverage options.
